Mindfulness for Community Heroes

A free workshop series (yes, really free) for educators, healthcare workers, caregivers and first responders.

Nominate a Group of Community Heroes

Do you know a group of frontline professionals who deserve a moment of peace, presence, and care?

We’re now accepting nominations for Mindfulness for Community Heroes — a mobile wellness experience bringing the calming art of Mindfulness Candle Making to everyday heroes across the United States. These 90-minute group sessions are designed to support caregivers, educators, healthcare workers, first responders, and other service professionals who give so much to others.

We’re seeking groups of 8–12 participants to receive a fully-facilitated, no-mess workshop onsite — in their school, clinic, station, or office. All we need is a contact person and access to a room with chairs and a table. We’ll bring the rest.

Who Can You Nominate?

Groups of professionals who:

  • Show up consistently in service to others

  • Could benefit from a restorative, community-centered activity

  • Have access to a space for a seated group session

Nominated groups will be contacted and considered for scheduling beginning Spring 2026. Participation is free of charge, and sessions are fully funded through personal contribution and donations — not grants or government funds.

Regular mindfulness practice has been shown to reduce burnout, increase emotional resilience, and improve overall well-being — especially among caregivers and frontline professionals.
